The film is written and directed by Richard Curtis and is being made by Working Title Films for Universal Studios. The Boat That Rocked stars Philip Seymour Hoffman, Bill Nighy, Rhys Ifans, Nick Frost and Kenneth Branagh. Principal photography started on March 4, 2008 on location off the coast of England and is expected to end in June 2008."
